As for the work, this is my personal collection of art and design that I enjoy making for myself. I currently am a fulltime designer at DIGITAL KITCHEN in NYC. I am usually pretty busy rockin with DK but I will always find time for my own personal exploration and growth as an artist. The main focus of this collection is digitally created enviroments or matte paintings. I like to call it virtual environment creation. I mainly work in photoshop with photography I have shot myself or using stock images. Sometimes the goal is a photo real lighting and other times it is to experiment with highly stylized color corrections and cinematic looks. My other main areas of focus are in Graphic Design, 2D and 3D animation, Compositing, Lighting and Texturing. As for the name, Swords and Horses, to me means I am a non-traditionalist. I obviously understand the need for motor vehicles but I would be partial to horses as means for transportation. As of right now my current horse is the Queens and Coney Island Bound F Trains. As for Guns, no thanks. They make it too easy for a weakling to gain great power. A sword takes endless time to master. So all in all, that is the meaning behind the name. Enjoy!
